Made in the USAThe EPL-BS-70-100 Explosion Proof Metal Halide Light is U.L. approved Class 1 & 2, Division 1 & 2 and is rated for use in wet and marine environments. The spun aluminum mount and metal halide lamp used with this unit provide operators with excellent power and efficiency coupled with high versatility and ease of use. The EPL-BS-70-100 explosion proof light provides 13,000 square feet (20,000 sf for 150W HPS) of work area coverage with 32,000 lumens of light output. The 70 watt metal halide lamp (or 150 watt High Pressure Sodium) on this unit produces illumination equivalent to typical 400 watt halogen lamps while drawing only 70 watts at .58 amps. The metal halide lamp runs cooler than 400 watt halogen lamps, resulting in an easier to handle unit and less heat in the workspace. The metal halide lamp in this unit produces a brilliant flood pattern of light that is ideal for high vibration environments and general illumination in any confined space area (silo, tank or manhole).
