I hope that your physical condition is improved and that you are enjoying a wonderful life. Sincerely". Photograph not present. Adams, who had been born on August 7, 1921, had made her last TV appearance in 1953 on an episode of Adventures of Superman. She appeared in her last feature film, Street Bandits, two years earlier. Jane Adams is best remembered as the most beautiful of monster creations, the hunchbacked Nina of House of Dracula (1945). She later appeared in two serials - Lost City of the Jungle (1946) and 1949's Batman and Robin, but did mostly television thereafter. Adams retired from show business in 1953 in order to travel with her husband, Major General Thomas Turnage, later an advisor to President Reagan. Slightly creased.
